I studied global managerial business economics in college. This means I love analytical information. Like, did you all know that in the past 5 years the demand for a more personalized business experience has risen which consequently called for business trends like social responsibility and personalization. Also this is why 2 things have become popular; (boutique hotels and owners sharing more about themselves to their professional audiences). Which is a convoluted way for me to explain why I am making this blog and blog post.
I am a Capricorn, my Myer’s Briggs is INTJ, and my blood type is O. Which meant nothing to me until I went to college in California. Now I love leaning more about each personality classification. Also it means that I am driven, career oriented, systematic, and a bit impersonal but also caring and nurturing. (I am a fixed earth sign I believe? Like I said still learning)
I am a vegetarian attempting to go vegan. To everyone who is going “BUT WHAT DO YOU EAT!” My favorite foods are pizza, avocados, acai bowls, broccoli, coffee and Thai tea. Also if anyone knows where to get bomb acai bowls in Chicago…. let me know.
I have actually worked in the event industry in some capacity for the past 6 years and am now just realizing how much I really love it. I even started my own nonprofit esque foundation in high-school for Lurie’s Childrens Hospital in Chicago.
I know in some capacity 7 languages : English, Spanish, American Sign Language, Korean, French, Latin, and Italian. Unfortunately, the minute I have to start speaking it I go brain dead. I did get the chance to help a deaf family at work one day recently and it was a great experience.
I am a logophile which means someone who loves the sound of eloquent words and phrases. This also means that I have a strong eidetic memory when it comes to spoken words. But I am terrible at remembering faces and names. I remember the exact words my coworker described themselves as back in November orientation and yet still do not remember her name or face. I remember the exact words my professor’s first lecture I ever took at University. Fun story I also got in trouble in 6th grade because on a short answer final I used the exact wording the teacher used to teach us the materials and so they thought I cheated, but I just remembered it.
If I am doing a post to get to know me better I guess I should say I am a 22 year-old cisgender female whose pronouns are she/her/hers. Which basically equates to mean I am a human being?
I am a sports fanatic, which one of my best friends can attest to because every game I give her a play by play and then she asks me what sport I am talking about.
I am kind of a health enthusiast. I love going to the gym, yoga, Pilates, finding new healthy trends and recipes
